Trans-Canada Highwaymen

Come and celebrate our 20th Anniversary with us!

This fall the Kay Meek Arts Centre celebrates its 20th Anniversary and we plan to do it in style. We have planned this once in 20 years event in two parts, with a little something for everyone. Part One is a 3-course sit down dinner hosted by JENS LINDEMANN and IAN PARKER; and Part Two is a cocktail reception followed by a high-energy performance with the new Canadian supergroup, the TRANS-CANADA HIGHWAYMEN [Steven Page (former Barenaked Ladies), Craig Northey (Odds), Chris Murphy (Sloan), and Moe Berg (The Pursuit of Happiness)].

The evening will include an auction and many more wonderful surprises.

Your evening kicks off with a welcoming glass of prosecco, followed by an exclusive three-course dinner in the intimate McEwen Theatre. Special guests and internationally renowned musicians, JENS LINDEMANN, trumpet, and KMAC Artistic Advisor IAN PARKER, piano, will entertain you with their music and storytelling, a perfect pairing for this elegant event.

COCKTAIL RECEPTION AND CONCERT
DOORS OPEN: 6 pm | CONCERT: 8 pm
Early Bird Tickets: $195 (Offer ends July 2nd)
Regular Ticket: $225

Mix and mingle with old friends and new as you enjoy a complimentary glass of prosecco and delicious canapés. At 8pm the Trans-Canada Highwaymen hit the stage to perform Canadian hits from the 60s and 70s, some of your favourites of the 80s and 90s, and their own hits like: The Old Apartment (Barenaked Ladies), Someone Who’s Cool (Odds), The Rest of My Life (Sloan), I’m an Adult Now (The Pursuit of Happiness) and so many more great tunes!

Your participation will help raise funds to support the world-class arts programming that the Kay Meek Arts Centre brings to our community and to continue to build on the amazing gift Kay Meek gave us, over 20 years ago.

This is going to be the event of the year!
